The End is Near - Episode Three

Robert Underhill, experimental film director, returns his abandoned television series after a year of legal action, tabloid headlines, and the dwindling of the funds he gained from his big-budget disaster of a film My Time with Headhunters in Kansas.

This week, Channuk the Hunter argues with his girlfriend, gets drunk in a bar, then sits through hours of make-up to reapply his forehead wrinkles.

Bemma the Hydro-Electric Plant Operator searches the city for her family, unaware that they have already been converted to energy by the alien taking apart her planet.

Introduced this week: Robert Underhill, playing a holographic version of himself at the AlphaTerran library. His sassy attitude and gossip about neighbors steals the show.

   I haven’t had so much fun since Underhill was guest director on the Designing Women finale back in ’93.
