As always, the long-running news-analysis-cum-game-show pits two teams of CEOs of medium- to large-sized businesses to work analysing the week’s news, at the pleasure of the enigmatic Professor Green. But the blue-nosed Wall Streeters get a black eye that may shake up the rest of the season, as the Bible Belters elect to spend all their Realpolitik to bring in a ruthless new VP. Worse, that VP seems to have links to the past of Wall Streeter team leader Ricard. Of course, no one will know who won Philosophy Points this round until Professor Green makes the customary ruling at the top of next episode. So Bloggers and Internet types are furiously trading “Platonic Dollars” on the show’s controversial website in anticipation of the new point values. The action is hot – if you’ve got an ideological axe to grind, it’s a fine time to become a CoK fan.
